HOW TO MAKE HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN WINGS

In a large bowl, add raw chicken wings. Drizzle on some olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and then toss with a pair of tongs or a spatula so that the wings are coated.

Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

While the chicken bakes, prepare the sauce. Boil the honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and chili powder (if using) for three or four minutes or until the sauce is reduced and has a thick consistency and a dark golden color. Remove the saucepan from heat and cover.

Working quickly, add the baked chicken wings into a bowl and pour the honey garlic sauce on top. This step works best if both the sauce and the chicken are hot so that the sauce will be more fluid. Use a spatula to toss and turn the chicken wings until they’re coated in sauce. If you’re having trouble, just be patient; the sauce will eventually thin and cover all of the chicken wings.

How to Make Wing Sauce
The trick to the best wing sauce is making sure it’s thickened so it sticks to the wings.
Combine the wing sauce ingredients in a small saucepan
Simmer until thickened, the sauce should coat the back of a spoon
Use a foil lined pan (easy clean up) topped with parchment paper (so the wings don’t stick)
Cool 10 minutes before serving which will help the sauce to thicken further
