This recipe for green beans almondine is tender green beans cooked with butter and almonds and thyme, then add with freshly ground pepper and salt.

How to make green beans with almondine recipes.

Cook the green beans in a large pot of boiling salted water until just crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.
Drain the beans and transfer them to a large bowl of ice water, cooling them completely.
Melt the butter in a large, heavy skillet over medium high heat. then add the almonds and raisin and thyme. stirring frequently.
Add the beans to the skillet , gently tossing the green beans with the almond mixture until evenly combined and the green beans are tender. and season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper. Serve immediately.
