How to Make Raisin Bran Muffins!
Preheat the oven and prepare muffin tins with liners.
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and raisins in a bowl, mix well and set aside.
Combine shortening and sugars with a hand mixer on medium until fluffy. Add eggs and beat until incorporated. Stir in dry ingredients.
Stir in milk . Add dry ingredients and mix just until moistened.
Pour the batter evenly into the muffin tins and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. When wooden pick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean, they are done and ready to enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Line 12 muffin cups with papers or grease well.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and raisins in a bowl, mix well and set aside.
  • Combine shortening and sugars with a hand mixer on medium until fluffy. Add eggs and beat until incorporated.
  • Stir in milk . Add dry ingredients and mix just until moistened.
  • Divide over prepared pans and bake 20-25 minutes. Cool in tin 5 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack; let cool completely, or serve warm.
