Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup. finely chopped semisweet chocolate

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line muffin tins with paper cupcake liners.
  • Sift together the sugar, flour, cocoa, and salt into a large bowl.
  • Add the egg, milk, and vanilla. Stir until incorporated.
  • Add in the chopped chocolate and stir to combine, but do not overmix.
  • to fill prepared cupcake liners 2/3 full . Do NOT overfill. lace the muffin tin in the oven on the centre rack and bake for approximately 20-25 minutes or until the cake bounces back when you touch it gently .
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pans for 8 minutes. Remove and transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
