Raisin Bran Muffins

- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line 12 muffin cups with papers or grease well.
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and raisins in a bowl, mix well and set aside.
Combine shortening and sugars with a hand mixer on medium until fluffy. Add eggs and beat until incorporated.
Stir in milk . Add dry ingredients and mix just until moistened.
Divide over prepared pans and bake 20-25 minutes. Cool in tin 5 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack; let cool completely, or serve warm.
