  • 5 slices bacon
  • 1 tablespoon crushed garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen whole green beans
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoon chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic chopped


  • Place the green beans in a small pot and add enough water to fully submerge them. Bring to a boil over high heat (3-5 minutes).Drain the green beans

  • Cook bacon in a large skillet set over medium-high heat until crisp. Use a slotted spoon to remove bacon pieces. Pour off excess grease from the skillet, leaving about 2 tablespoons in the pan.
  • Add the garlic,chopped onion and red pepper flakes to the bacon grease and cook over medium-high heat until fragrant, about 1 -2 minute. Add bacon and stir and serve topped.
